Welcome to Plainville Hounds the Lakeland home of the Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen.

GBGV’s are often referred to as the happy hound with their oversized ears and expressive features and it is important to us that our dogs are the embodiment of this wonderful breed. Our dogs are pets first and foremost and very much part of our family. We currently share our lives with five GBGVs all of whom have their own characters and foibles.

We are having increasing success in the show ring and occasionally have puppies available for carefully selected homes.
